I wonder what the cover will be for the big 5-0-0?

Lazy rhetoric. Oftentimes the simplest answer is the truth. People fight about the Prequels because they aren’t as good as the originals. Oh, and people like to fight and have opinions. Crazy revelations, I know!

1. OK, we get it. Let it go. Lord in Heaven, let it go. If you don’t like something, just stop buying. Stop going. Stop seeing the sequels. It’s not hard.
2. “How much people profess they hate them shows how much they love them.” — that’s infinitely profound.

Watchmen – gonna rock. Like LotR, the source material is so strong, that unless they put everyone in bunny ears and made Rorschach a loveable tyke who redeems himself in the end, they can’t miss.

TF2 – I’m sorry, I really didn’t like the first one all that much, I don’t plan to see the second. I’ve learned my lesson with Michael Bay films – I don’t like them.

Terminator: Salvation. Originally very skeptical, the more I see/hear from this production, the more optimistic I get.

And as a final thought: please let it go, Ms. Weaver. The Alien series was not only killed, it was then exhumed, urinated upon, set on fire and then re-buried. The only hopes from here on out are a reboot, which is inevitable and sad, because the first two films are brilliant.

Tell me about it! Love, love, love that show.

Great. More diabetes-inducing sentimental treacle spewed from his butterchurn of over-ripe summer-blockbuster musical noise. I can’t forgive the guy for that awful Jurassic Park score and although he has done some beautiful work with Spielberg in the past (Schindler’s List, especially) when two of them get together on some “heartfelt” project (E.T. — choke!) Williams really smears on the schmaltz. I’m know remembering his cue for Anakin-says-bye-bye-to-his-mommy from Phantom Menace. >shudder<

S. Darko looks, predictably, forgettable. Too bad.

I hope it’s the classic. I know…I’m old school. I want nothing to do with the so called “Ultimates” in any form or fashion.

And you know…hey! I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, second chances… whatever. I just don’t see your kin as the person to do Conan after what became of the heap that was X3. Talk about no vision. The one thing that does encourage me is that he was a fan of it as a kid. That’s little consolation though.

And Rosario….you do a great job with this.
