Tony and Dareen, that was me with the “Nacelles Monthly” line. I said it elsewhere, but I want to thank you guys for a great panel yesterday. I’m a regular reader here but still enjoyed that panel, the video goodies and your sense of humor through it all. For me, it was a great start to what’s turned out to be a helluva con. I’ve been to many WonderCons in the past, and between Trek and Watchmen, I’ve never see such a wired crowd (nor a crowd this big!) at this show.

Wow, those people asking those questions obviously aren’t “real fans” of Trek, or they’d be as up on things as we all are, spending all our spare time here trying to be “first.” I bet they even have real lives and things. Losers! Trek must be The All!

Its funny, I would think most everyone has the internet now, and when I wanted to know more about this new movie, I looked for star trek sites, blog, etc and found trekweb.com and trekmovie.com, now I know everything I want to know, I simply like staying updated, just like with the news. Paramount did not need to “get to me” because I searched out the info I wanted to know. But yes Paramount has to get out there but its only really going to start now, in March and April. That just means that the people who don’t go and source the info will not know until the last minute. logical one would thing.

Glad the panel went well. Yes, I am amazed that you were hearing from Trekkers that knew next to nothing about the new movie. I didn’t think Paramount would need to struggle hard to inform our demographic.

I think I may have actually played that Trek PSA back in college radio as an audio spot. Was it just Kirk and Spock discussing a wasted planet?
