I don’t understand all this complaining about the show being depressing or dark. CIVILIZATION ENDED. EVERYONE IS DEAD. THE SHIP IS FALLING APART. EARTH WAS A CRISPY CRITTER. THE PRESIDENT IS DYING OF CANCER. Maybe you’d like them to visit the casino planet and lighten things up, eh?

Well, to me, between the cylon paint and what’s his name is now a hybrid plugged into Galactica, I think it’s going to get auto repared and they won’t have to abandon the ship.

Agreed. I hope I’m not defending this show to only be terribly let down 2 weeks from now. This show may be my favorite TV show of all time right now and the one way that could change is a screwy ending.

I think episodes like this, and Deadlocked a couple of weeks ago, really can’t be judged until we see the season in its entirety, and more widely, the show. There have been moments in each of the last three which at first glance are only little character moments, but in context I think will prove quite important. Remember Roslin flashing to her death while jumping with the basestar? She is now in that room. Remember the Galactica being empty in those visions? If they abandon ship, it will be. Anders a hybrid? Hera writing Watchtower and calling it a starmap? I think these little moments will pay off when we see the show culminate, rather like DS9 did under Moore’s direction.

Or else they are going to really tick me off… :/

Trekmovie.com is pretty much my “one-stop-shop” for everything that I love and care to get updates about!

I rewatched this BSG episode a second time, and some of the things seemed to click in with me better the second time around. Some shows are just like that.

It really didn’t bother me to see Kara going pee… it happens! In fact, it really didn’t even register on me until it was mentioned by someone above. Not really a big deal.

Have you ever checked out the other features on this site? It has a pretty wide range of topics such as Science Fridays, Sci-Fi Saturdays, The Collective, etc. Not all of it has to do with Trek. Or the movie. But the site is caled Trekmovie for now. Anthony has said after the movie premiers he is planning a name change; something like TrekHQ.

I personally like this site. It’s one of my favorites. But like the universe, the internet is vast. If this particular port doesn’t suit your fancy, then cast off for other more suitable climes.

the Old-School Raiders in the Cavil colony was a nice surprise!!

I think were being set up for a New Cylons vs. Old Cylons battle for the finale!

this episode reinforced the the fact that Kara really does love her husband.

the Ellen & Tigh scenes were pretty great this week.

The dude who runs this site does a great job. He always updates and gets involved in a lot of the comments. If the guy wants to put up a BSG preview, or even a Desperate Housewives preview, he’s more than welcome. After all, he’s doing all the work. So instead of being upset because he enjoys BSG, why not thank him for doing the work to get you the Trek news instead.

I do like BSG…. make no mistake…

What I’m saying is, I don’t go to Starwars.com expecting to read about Harry potter…

Why don’t we just include all sci fi shows and talk about them all? Oh, that’s right, we’d have to go to sci fi.com or something…. :)
