While I admit I’m not a diehard fan of Star Trek like my sons, I have seen all the movies and am looking forward to the next premiere. What I liked about your recent posting is how you went about your analysis via your focus group, to the extent of including Holly and her friends. But, on the plus side, my brother (18-year-old who knows nothing about Star Trek except for the big… amoeba thing from the TNG episode “Galaxy’s Child”, which he calls a “space whale”) wants to see the new movie with me. I told him Simon Pegg was in it, and now he’s all over the idea. xD
I’ll probably make my friend Mia come see it with me, hehee. But none of my girl friends are into ‘Trek. D:
