Heck! What’s up w/ Simon & Schuster and their riduculous price gouging on the audio adaption of the film! The audio cd is twice+ as much as the printed book which takes far more raw materials(paper/binding), than to simply press a blank cd for a few cents with data(and a piece of cheap cardboard as pkging! Come on S&S,…. milking Trek fans once gain like the good ol’ days? At least the audio “is” unabridged!
For that price you should have gotten the whole cast to do voice work on it! Can we say 98% profit, I knew you could!

You just lost a poster to this site. I will not sit here and kowtow to a bunch of hitleresque people who sit by while other’s antagonize, make comments about ones personal life that are ad hominem and irrelevant and while you and the other ‘contributors’ sit by and watch without stating a single word about their ‘tone’. If you want some ‘civility’ show some god damn equity with regard to how you mete out ‘warnings’ or you will lose people. I am making a thread about this on several trek forums and warning people who have an opinion other than ‘JJ is my daddy’ to stay away from this fascist site. Man, it would be so great to watch this movie in Vulcan, Alberta with all the locals there. I think it would be hilarious everytime Nero is on screen talking about destroying Vulcan or attacking Vulcan or Kirk says: “We MUST get to Vulcan before they do…” or whatever.

Just imagine the raucous laughter of the local residents as they think about everyone fighting over their little prairie town, LOL!

April 4 premiere in Sydney, Australia? Huh? A full month before the worldwide premiere? I wonder if someone got their months wrong.
