Know this. I just stumbled upon this movie “Groom Lake” without any knowledge what-so-ever. No pre-conceptions, no expectations, no anything.

I was/am pleasantly delighted as I am going to watch it again.

Actually saw this in it’s premiere at one of the Laemmle Theatre back in the fall of 2002….Mr. Shatner was there to introduce it….he was was very self effacing, and just a little nervous, of course. It was a not a bad little film…..a bit more going on underneath the surface that the average SciFi Channel fare….it was actually rather tender. It’s worth a look.

Bios -official or not – stating otherwise, after watching The Shat at that grill, he’s no salad-eater. And as a self-appointed king of barrel smokers I say: AUGERS? WE DON’ NEED NO STEENKIN’ AUGERS! For myself Bill Shatner will always be THE Captain James T. Kirk, even though he’s long since aged out of the part. And I wish him all the best in his endeavors, whether it be acting or otherwise.
