Now all of a sudden they dont get along?

This just proves that this new Star Trek movie will be the biggest yet in the numbers of people going to see it. I took my two sons ages 23 and 18 to see “The Day The Earth Stood Still”. They both told me that they want to go and see the New Star Trek movie after seeing the trailer for it. It has even peeked my youngest son’s interest so much that he has been watching my Star Trek movies and TV shows on DVD with me. Star Trek is about family and friendship and it has given me many hours of quality time with my son.

For the most part I like the bridge. It keeps the basic design principle for Trek bridges. that is the commander in the center with easy access to the various information centers around him. Over all the lighting doesn’t seem as bright as earlier glimpses we’ve had, however the lighted flood around the captain’s chair seems to me would maake reading the view screen and other displays more difficult.
Standing workstations on a bridge of a ship never made sense to me. Ships get tossed around quite a bit. On the 1701-D why did you not have your tactical officer more secure at thier station. Not sure of the duties these standing station serve, but when the phasers start firing these folks will be the first on the floor.

Maybe we’ll get lucky, Kirk will be blinded by all the harsh lighting and will hit a self-destruct control by mistake…no more iBridge…
