The personal relationships between the original cast members are very complicated. Nimoy and Shatner have clashed in the past. Although they’re supposedly friendly now. It is also interesting to note that all the cast members with “secondary” roles – Takei, Koenig, Nichols – seem to have issues with Shatner to a greater or lesser degree.

Everyone has their own theory as to why that is. Are they simply jealous of Shatner? Did Shatner steal the spotlight at their expense? Is the whole feud even real (or was all just a publicity stunt)? So on and so forth.
