My 9 year old bought the bridge playset. I cannot get one of the chairs to fasten into the base. It has a completely different end piece that doesn't want to snap in. Anyone else having trouble?

If you can't find the m in your local store, Walmart in Ontario was clearing them out , all sizes, but no Bridge parts ones or Pike, for $5 each, last week.
I got them all, in 3.5 for $50. This was just a test for all involved to see how well the toys sell, and then the powers that be will decide if a second/third film is worth the effort...
We all know how that works out....
I think A.A. will put out a few more good figures/ships in the near future to keep interest high, and ; when it's all said and done, if you like the figures, go out and buy them, and enjoy them, wherever you get them.
My kids love Trek now, and are curious about the start of it all....
How can you complain about that!?!? L.L.& P!!!!!

I have the full collection of the new figures already and they are a great addition to all of the other figures I have collected over the years of Trekdom.....But,"I do have one tastey tid-bit for fellow trekkies out there;

As I set out to purchase the new figures to add to my collection I have now I ran into sort of a bonus in my search/purchase's.....I was going through the shelves that were on display with the new figures at Wal-Mart here in Indiana where I am located....and much to my suprise as I was picking up the Spock figures I discovered that I had found a Original Spock with some big differences in it than the other -Original Spocks on the shelves next to it.......;one has a rather matte finish to his cloke,no disfigured hand and has the dots for his eyes...the other one has a rather glossy finish to his cloke,a messed up vulcan handsign and has no dots for eyes-it is all white where his eyes should be at...all other features and items encluded are just fine......anyone else have a Original Spock 3 inch scale like that??

Here in the UK, no bridge pieces are included in the Galaxy collection. This has disappointed my 11 yo son greatly as he had the Bridge playset as a present but is now unable to add to it. What a rip off!

Managed to get my hands on 3 small Uhura figures today at my local TRU- went there as soon as they opened up this morning but no 6" Uhura's. Among an entire wall of figures only 3 of Uhura- she's a definite keeper.

Whoops! One more comment.

Almost all of the packaging is recyclable. Not that this is new but Playmates stamps the code in the plastic which is important because many companies want the recycle code in order to accept it.

And thank goodness they didn't use that nasty clamshell packaging which apparently requires one to rip open your skin in order to open the packaging.

A follow-up on my original (#84) post. I don't have any problem getting Spock to fit in the chair. I'm not sure what the problem was before. Perhaps the joints were a bit sticky or the plastic on the shirt was a bit too low and interfered with bending it at the waist or I just didn't do it right.

Dunno' what my problem was but it's fine, now.

I have three of them (Spock, McCoy, and Sulu) and although they all sit fine in their chairs, only Sulu can sit close enough in the chair to the console because his is open underneath. The others are closed and the feet push up against it.

HOWEVER! Since the main goal is for kids to play with them and not for collectors, I consider it an observation and not a complaint.
