I could have noted the excellent reviews Meaney has been getting for his performance, though. I was mainly focusing on completely new stuff. And you’re right, the Daily Record is dodgy, but it was the original source of the so-called “tirade” and it has since been confirmed by other sites and publications such as BroadwayWorld.

31. CmdrR — No I didn’t. :) Clint Howard was not a regular on any Trek series. I hadn’t done a Watch in 3 months, so I just decided to focus on the regulars and some recurring players, rather than guest stars (even those who guest-starred on Trek several times).

Maybe it was in an earlier CelebWatch or another column, so if I missed it before and I’m repeating it my apologies…but…

Colm Meaney was in the movie The Damned United doing a frighteningly real and excellent portrayal of former Leeds United manager Don Revie.

Also, I missed the chance to see Waiting For Godot at the King’s Theatre in Edinburgh, though a colleague who went said it was excellent. And anything printed in the Daily Record is dodgy. I wouldn’t use that rag as loo paper.
