Game looks a bit crap to me. But seeing as it’s only xbox I don’t suppose it matters. Good luck getting your money out of the PC gaming crowd boys.

The game has many aspects of complexity, but this is comminh from some one whom started with an Atari 2600 back in 1977 and moved to a Atari 800 computer in 1980 to play Star Radiers. Graphics at that time was just moving into the late 50’s quality video.

Besides great video quality, things that should be intuitively known like shield radius dimensions and activity would be known by any qualified cadet. So display seems almost like video noise and not really needed, The only counter to this statement is the game is made for those that can make something complicated down to those that are lucky to tie their shoes.

So do video games now need to be given a complexity of visualize scale to be adjusted to remove video polution.

I said it up at #14, but maybe it bears repeating :)

The D*A*C comes from the three different game modes – Deathmatch, Assault, and Conquest.

Go watch the videos posted in previous sections, and you can hear the game developers talking about the three different variations on the game, as well as previous statements that say something to the effect of “If you play the game, you’ll realize what D*A*C stands for.”

Okay, about the “rocket exhaust” . . . IT ISN’T ROCKET EXHAUST!! I don’t know what the heck it is supposed to be, but it’s definitely not that! If anyone has played STAR TREK: TACTICAL ASSAULT for the PSP or Nintendo DS, you’ll notice that all the ships there have something similar.

I’m feeling inclined to take #27’s theory.

In any case, I hope this game comes out for PC, hope it’s Windows XP – compatable. If not, I’ll upgrade.

Can’t wait to see the movie.
