Does Quinto’s Spock wear prosthetics to accentuate the eye bone near the temple?
I keep thinking his face looks a little too shiny and has more of a bump near the temple than I’m used to on Nimoy.

The magazine is on its way to subscribers – we weren’t allowed to release it anywhere until 00:01 on May 8th. If you read the interviews before you see the movie a second or third time, there’s a few pointers to things to look out for.
UK readers may also want to get a copy of the Sunday Mirror this weekend, as it includes an exclusive edition of Star Trek Magazine free inside, with interviews with Chris Pine, Simon Pegg and Leonard Nimoy.

And I’m very glad someone else spotted the reference to Nurse Chapel – I thought I imagined it first time round, and only was certain after hearing it at the IMAX screening!

Don’t know if someone said this as I jumped ahead, but I was with the understanding that Bones is a shortened version of Sawbones, a term used for docs way back when and that where Kirk got the name from.

I saw the movie and it was awesome. I want sure how much i would like it but i have to say it beat out Star Trek 2 and 6 for me! Nimoy was awesome! Pine was great! McCoy was unbelievable! It was like watching the 60’s Tv show. Uhura finally has life in her other than saying “were receiving a distress call captain.” Scotty was good. Sulu was much better than expected. Chekov, I really liked this Chekov.
The only bad thing about this movie is that it could have been longer.. time flew by and my friends and i were all saying we should just get another ticket and catch the next showing… that good.
I really would have liked to have seen more of Nero and the old Spock to tie the comic in with the movie a little better. Oh well… For gods sake JJ give us an extended cut and the theatrical versions on DVD/Blue Ray!!!!!!!!!
