95 – nobody should be infringing on gay persons rights to speak on this board. And I even be open to them casually introducing a new or ancilliary crew member who is gay. That being said, and I may as well be blunt here, 99% of us don’t want to all of sudden find out in ST2 that one of the core original trek characters is a fudgepacker. :-)

Nichelle is the only actor from the original series i have met- she was amazing- after her signing- i got some pictures alone with her and she held my favorite tribble – now named nichelle- lol!

You go girl! This was one of those Nichelle moments where she was so right on about what Trek is all about, it brought tears to my eyes.

Shatner and Nimoy may be the stars of Trek, but Nichelle is the stateswoman/spokeswoman. I remember the 30th anniv. special when she was introduced by a woman who was so inspired by Nichelle, she had become a NASA astronaut and had flown on the Space Shuttle. Simply amazing.

Also, it always brings chills whenever she narrates her MLK experience, with Dr. King phoning her up and telling her to hang in there and don’t quit on Trek or Uhura. He knew. Modern fans can’t even imagine what the times were like when TOS hit the small screen.

The woman is a trailblazer…

Like my last comment- that XXX “C” word was a joke which plenty of other people on other free uncensored sites used b4 me that I didnt think twice about using in that toung in cheek context.

It wasnt just that post that was deleted there were like 10 others which were only trying to discuss or comment on the Milk video and other comments & eventually critisizing the webmaster & what messages he keept or deleted and i was not the only person who was cut out of this discussion- and none of them used any so called XXX rated language.

I have heard plenty of dirty talk and innuendo regarding Jeri Ryan & Zoe on this site from straight guys but if a gay guy makes innuendo about another guy its suddenly XXX or Disgusting???

I wish u would look at why u find me so offensive.
The truth is u dont know me & didnt even get to read my comments as they were all deleted so how can u argue they were justified in being deleted.

Do u have any idea how it feels to live in a society where you are an object of ridicule & disgust? Like your a distaseful thing?
There were so many “thats gay and disgusting” comments posted in that thread- how could i not react?
I guess its easyer to silence the oppressed in ur society & just pretend there isnt a problem?
I just ask that u consider how would u feel if it happened to u?

But this will probably be deleted too so u wont ever have to think about it and go on in ur perfect little world without having to think about it.

I agree with the ‘why’s the milk video gay, necessarily?’ It’s MILK. I get that the colour is the same as that three-letter c-word (it took me awhile to guesswhat that was – cat, cop, cue?) And, more importantly, who cares if it is? He’s an actor in a project.
