No Star Wars reboot, it’s not necessary. However, if you would like to watch a fan edit of A New Hope that fixes just about everything wrong with it, try to find a copy of “Star Wars: Episode IV Revisited” by Adywan.

As many others have written, this is the only version of Episode IV I will watch from now on, unless Lucasfilm comes out with a version better, which I highly doubt. You can read more about it here:

Star Wars reboot – are you kidding? Re-boot to what? People are re-boot crazy in hollywood – take a chill pill down there.

Besides, I’m sure Lucas has no intention of that – he owns it lock stock and barrel. Aint gonna happen.

Star Wars reboot? Hell no!

It worked great for Trek. This is Trek ona new scale. Star Wars created a scale, it was unique. It was fantastic and had two fantastic sequels, some questionable prequels, and countless pointless off shoots like the Ewoks adventures and Droids. That’s like replacing the Statue of Liberty.
