Im sorry but that new J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie was the dumbest Star trek film theyve made yet. Juvenile, silly, designed to appeal to todays youth culture that needs everything to be fast, young, slick and well…dumb. The story made no sense. Giant allergic hands!!?? It laid waste to the entire Star Trek canon we all peobably own on DVD or Blu Ray. As I sat there watching in disbelief, It made even the god awful Star Trek 5 The Final Frontier seem like top notch First Contact.

I’m not going for the WNMHGB Sulu, just as I passed on “The Cage” Spock. C’mon, DST, how hard is it to do some minor *research* before making these things?

First, neither action figure has the correct “pilot” accessories … remember, they were using *laser* pistols back then, as well as those huge, transparent-flip communicators with all the innards exposed.

Second, neither of the characters wore the “command/star” insignia. Spock wore “sciences” in “The Cage” and Sulu wore “engineering” in “WNMHGB.”

Collectors love it when you get these details right, DST. If you can’t, then just e-mail me. I’ll research it for free.

#26! i feel your pain.
I’ve been waiting on my Science Tricorder for what seems like years. TRU’s site says it is shipping on 6/27. Anyone know if there is any truth in this?

Funny, I was able to walk into a TRU store on Thursday and pick a science tricorder up right off the shelf. Wonder why there’s such a delay in shipping?

BTW, has anyone else noticed that the AA Communicators in the TRU stores now have plastic antenna grids rather than the original metal that they came with last year?

Wouldn’t it be cool if they had put an actual working laser pointer inside the AGT Enterprise-D phaser cannon? Laser pointers are pretty cheap these days, and it would really set that ship apart.
