Agreed. ‘Science Fiction’ is a convenient catch-all term but highly innaccurate. At best, even a lot of the most ’scientific’ stuff is more ’speculative fantasy’ than fiction about science. It’s often about life in a universe where science has ‘allowed’ something to happen and either stays fairly sketchy about how it was achieved or plain old makes it up!

First, I lamented “Reaper”

Now they’re moving “Smallville” since the premier of “Supernatural” I’ve had the one PVR set to record both on Thursdays
in one two hour block.

Now I see CW is moving in more evening soaps, Egads!
What are they smoking over at CW?

33. I agree. Fixing an end date provided shape to the entire narrative. It turns the whole thing into a 115 (or however many)-hour movie.

#30—I really enjoy and look forward to ‘Lost’ as well, even when it pisses me off! I am glad that it isn’t going to run indefinitely, though. I think it was a good idea to place the ending in sight.

I can’t wait for the rest of the Tennant episodes! Sad he’s leaving though. I like the main credits right now, but it might be cool to have a new face. Also a new TARDIS interior would be interesting if the rumors turn out to be true. But for the love of god, give the Daleks a rest for at least a series.
