Personally, I think the Destiny trilogy would make a great movie. I mean it's about the Caeliar and how the Borg came into existence (thanks a lot Sedin. It's all your fault. - to those who don't know. Sedin is a character in the Destiny trilogy. Sedin is the voice behind the Borg that we hear when ever on a Borg ship or in the Borg's hailing message to any ship regarding assimilation and resistance is futile. In essence, Sedin is the High Queen, where as she's higher than the regular Borg Queen that we saw in Voyager episodes and First Contact.)

I am a big fan of ST Voyager and are trying to read all books based on the series and so far string theory book 1 was the funniest book i have ever read.
I have read Full Circle and reread it two more times and both times i had tears, such a fantastic book. I cant wait for Unworthy.

I do agree what It is good to have Janeway back into story , besides she was taken to Q continium and Q are all powerful , maybe it was just their prank, course no one saisd she is dead dead!

I do hope Janeway isn't really dead, but on a quest, kind of like Vash was for 2 years with Q. She did after all leave with Lady Q at the end of Before Dishonor. I am loving this Voyager series, and I hope they are able to bring Tom, B'lanna, Chakotay and Seven back into the fold in this next book, Unworthy.

Sounds nice....hopefully Romulan War starts off after the vanishing of the Columbia....and: aren't The Null sounding like relatives to The Inhibitors form Revelation Space....(-;

Also can't wait for the next DS9 novels....plus, of course: The Typhon Pact - and Captain Dax.

Couldn't agree more with you about Janeway

And if they've brought back Spock and Kirk, doesn't Janeway deserve the same?

Admiral Janeway may come back from the dead.

After all, Spock (Search for Spock) and CPT Kirk (in his various Star Trek novels.

Besides, Admiral Janeway is STILL a great character who deserves to live long and prosper.

#77 - Go back over the recent Trek books and they seem to have this childish, two-dimensional character building going on. In Titan there's a fascination with several characters who are at it like bunnies, apparently - there's everything short of orgies being described, in bare detail.

My point is, either go for it or ignore it, but the fascination at the moment is the same as teenagers in their first sex-ed classes, and it just doesn't feel real.

Every time I read about it in a Trek book it makes me cringe, because it's done so poorly, and I'm thinking more about why the author is being so silly than the story.

And I'm no prude - I enjoy books by authors like Bernhard Schlink, who describe sex in their stories but in such a way that drives the story forward.

The word "lovemaking" has become cliche in Trek books.

Thanks a lot Trek Movie!! I am halfway through the Star Trek Destiny trilogy and now I know how it ends! Not even a spoiler alert! Yeah, I know the trilogy has been out for a while but sue me for waiting until I had time to enjoy them!

I don't know if the which kirk actor question has been answered, but my opinion is that anything dealing with the old way of things (before the new movie changed it up) then Shatner should be on the cover no question. However, if the book is set in the new timeline then Pine should be on the cover. That way, there can be a deliniation, if Paramount wants to do a completly new series of books in the new timeline. There won't be any confusion that way.
