The Badges will be a great addition for those who will have the Heritage Costume collection from Halloween. Since the costume comes with a toy looking cheap plastic badge. This will make it authentic. I think it’s a must have for collectors.

I just pre-ordered the gift set and then pre-sold the pre-ordered Blu-ray disks to a buddy. I’ll keep the badges and use the cash from the disks to pre-order the antiquated DVD version. Here’s to geek friends helping geek friends!

Are they seriously advertising “Digital Copy” on the front cover?

From my own experience don’t most of those have a shelf life of only a few months? And even if it isn’t, is that really a selling point?

God I did not realise that caring about the show for so long that you loved the actors who made the characters work.

I am sure there are many like me who like the film but still prefer the originals. I buy the fact that there is now two timelines, two universes would be better. I like the fact there are two universes now, it is no different than having another mirror universe and how many times has Trek done alternate realities.

The orignal time line is still intact, Vulcan is still intact is still there.

There is no way in hell that I am letting JJ Abrams tell me that TOS -VOY is now the equivalent of the Dream season of Dallas.
