Who knows what they were smoking when they wrote it. Riker and Troi just scream ” WE”RE MEDIOCRE! THIS IS WHY WE”RE CANCELED!” at every Trek fan who was left in ‘05. And season 4 was actually the best season of Trek since DS9.

There have been two novels released that continue Enterprise beyond the finale: “The Good That Men Do” and “Kobayashi Maru”, both by Andy Mangels & Michael Martin. Next up is “The Romulan War”, credited solely to Martin.

And as for the finale….
I think “Terra Prime” (the second-to-last episode) would have been a fitting finale. All they would’ve needed to do was put Archer’s big speech at the end of the episode, instead of the touching scene they have with T’Pol and Trip grieving. It would have been perfect.

I think In a mirror darkly would have been a good ending. It may have even been meant for a last show of season 4 and first show of season 5. But everyones life for Enterprise seemed to have gotten drained when UPN axed it.

See if someone used my idea of building a Autodesq database of all the DSN characters, it would be possible to make a good visual version. The theactrical aspect depends on the book to screenplay writers, the director, and the producer that creates the parts that were not in DSN.

Even the book publishers could do fund it, all they need is a legal dept. to get contracts to prevent law suits. Since today many think it is easier to make money in court that to be honored by the actions of a performance. I’m not saying the actors would start the suits but money hunger lawyers may provoke the actions to get money or their names known.

I’m sure many books would make fine movies, I’m not say all books will but that will be deduced by the viewership

Yes, Sisko comes back, in “Unity”, which is a few books prior to this one. (Let’s see, if I’m remembering correctly, there’s just been “Warpath”, “Fearful Symmetry” and “The Soul Key” between “Unity” and “The Never-Ending Sacrifice”….)
