I wasn’t too impressed with the “science” explanations in this series, such as the “artificial gravity” uniforms. I can almost appreciate the effort on the part of the writers but it still seems pretty weak. The constant flashbacks to the whiny crew’s Earth-side soap opera is the worst of all. It takes up most of the episodes and makes for one big yawn fest.

31… I, for one thought both “Sarah Conner Chronicles” and “Dollhouse” were absolutely awful television and I’m baffled how “Dollhouse” survived to a second season.

“Flashforward” was a very good book, but I think the TV reworking will ruin it. The change in the “flashforward” dates (from 30 years in the future to just 6 months) eliminates the “big” impact of seeing your future (you’re not the success you hope to be, for example) and leaves just the soap opera plots (she’s not shacking up with that guy anymore in 6 months…) Yawn.

Defying gravity is GREAT television… and they take the time to explain (to all us science purists), why their hair (and bodies) don’t float around in the Zero G Spaces… ;-) love nano tech and electromagnetism! Someone is paying attention to science (unlike Ron Moore’s recent Virtuosity show).

Also, is anyone else confused as to WHY fox cancelled The Sarah Connor Chronicles? This was great television? How they chose to keep dollhouse over TSCC frustrates and baffles to no end?!?!

Regarding Flash Forward… After ruining Enterprise, Brannon Braga does yet another show about time lapses/traveling. Maybe future guy will be the cause of this latest incident (yawn) (rollseyes).

yes, this post is somewhat bitter, but I am still really sad they cancelled Enterprise after a MAGNIFICENT 4th season. The proposed 5th season would have been great! More Shran, Giant evil cats, Romulan War Arc, T’pol’s dad as a Romulan agent! :-O
