Bad news for ST's nomination hopes. The Academy will only choose one or two of these type films. When you consider who is directing "Avatar" and the supposedly revolutionary way it was shot I think the Academy would lean more in Avatar's direction given a choice of the two... On the other hand nobody has even seen "Avatar" yet to know if it is truly Oscar worthy.
