25- Tom Welling does not play Superman, he is Clark Kent trying to figure out what he is supposed to be doing. Reeve, Routh, and Cain were Superman but Welling has some ways to go before his Clark can even get there.

As for Superman Returns. It tried too hard to be what the Donner film succeeded to be. I liked Routh and he did good with what he had to work from. But I think he deserves another chance.

#73—-I didn’t realize that was in need of confirmation. We’ve known they wouldn’t be working on that script for some time. I had the feeling they didn’t really want to write Transformers 2, but had to be coaxed into doing so by Michael Bay.

WHY would JJ not be directing mission impossible? SO HE CAN DIRECT STAR TREK.

I’d still bet it’ll be out in ‘11, and it’ll be Abrams. I’m too optimistic to think otherwise.

Though I still think a star trek movie directed by Danny Boyle would be… orgasmic.
