I’ll wait till the full edition comes out…

haahh. The Star Trek movie adaption. Coming out a month after the Movie hits DVD? Why not do a Kelvin comic? I’d love to see that.

Odo looks like a zombie.

I hope they will do a Titan comic or maybe adapt some of the Pocket Books novels. There are alot of good stories that could be adapted. I wouldn’t mind seeing them do an Enterprise Season 5 comic as well. Just please ignore that “These are the Voyages” episode it never happened!

“Additionally, new scenes and moments cut from the movie are revealed”

Shatner scene??

inb4 boborci

still waiting for the Star Trek vs Aliens comic

they did Trek v X Men so why not the one that actually makes the most sense of all?

When did ds9 come out? I’ve never seen issues 1 and 2

#4: I hope they will do a Titan comic or maybe adapt some of the Pocket Books novels. There are alot of good stories that could be adapted.

I’m a big fan of Trek audio novels and have always hoped Frakes would be commissioned to read the Titan books.

If I’d have known they were going to release “Nero” as a trade paperback, then I wouldn’t have bought the single issues…this kind of repackaging really annoys me.

Why didn’ t they just do it that way to begin with?

#6 – Odo *does* look like a zombie!

#10 – pretty much every major comic comes out in TPB these days.

Yay, trade paperbacks!

Voyager comic???

Man, I’d love to see an Enterprise comic, though I’m afraid I might be the only one…

It would be cool if they did the movie adaptation comic with the likenesses of the original cast…..

@ 3.

ahahhaha, its true ! Maybe he finally loses it with Quark and finally decides to shot him out the airlock ;)

@ 13.

Oh god , no ! I’m sick of Voyager. One of the worst trek ever. Hopefully they don’t support stories for that. DS9 all the way !!!!!!

As scotty says…

“Why in God’s name would you want that bucket of bolts?”

#14 No, you’re not the only one. A miniseries featuring events during the Romulan War would be awesome as well as a sequel to “In A Mirror Darkly, Parts 1 and 2. And they should ignore ‘….These Are The Voyages…” as that episode was the result of a rare brain glitch by Manny Coto and Trip’s unnecessary death should be explained as yet another symptom of another holodeck malfunction!

would be intresting to see if the shatner kirk scene is included. unlikely though

@ #18. “These are the Voyages…” wasn’t Coto’s fault.

Braga and Berman had written the episode to be a finale to season 3, if it came down to cancellation, and since the two of them were Coto’s boss he didn’t have much say otherwise. I think it’s obvious, in retrospect, that B&B were mourning the loss of “Trek” as opposed to doing service to “Enterprise.”

Coto did, in fact, fight for Archer and co. Most famously giving the last few lines of Kirk’s narration to Archer. I like Coto’s take on the entire experience: Take the previous arc as “Enterprise’s” and consider that the show’s finale, with the last episode serving as nothing more than an epilogue.

@#20 Thanks for clearing that up. I do consider the TERRA PRIME episodes to be the “real” finale. I didn’t have a problem with Riker and Troi appearing, just not during the finale and certainly not with the death of Trip. They should have made this episode earlier in the season and have it aired a week before ” In A Mirror Darkly”. That way it would have been a better tribute to TNG and then the MIRROR episodes with the nods to TOS would’ve made for a great sendoff.

As for “Voyager” comics, I find that unlikely to happen since there isn’t enough demand and there isn’t as much they can do with it as there are for the others. Although “Enterprise” got lower ratings than Voyager, there
are still stories to be told.

#14 HERE HERE!!.. Would Love an “Enterprise” comic..

15 -“It would be cool if they did the movie adaptation comic with the likenesses of the original cast…..”

yeah thad be great –

but they didnt do the Superman Returns comic with Reeve or any of the original casts likeness so i doubt itd happen for this

I want Enterprise season 5 comics.

Can’t believe they gave us a New Fronteir comic b4 enterprise- if so where’s Titan or the other original stories.

24: “I want Enterprise season 5 comics.”

I second that.

#8 Right? – I feel like this is the first I’ve heard of it.

#24 – This could be really cool, actually. I feel like Enterprise started to finally come into its own and be what it promised during season 4 and I know that they had more of the same planned for season 5. I think there was a Guinan/Q story in the works, for example, that could have been really cool. Buffy Season 8 has been pretty cool…I think Enterprise could fare pretty well.

Regarding “These are the Voyages…” I totally agree that it was a disservice to Enterprise and cite “Terra Prime” as the true “finale.” It was such a shame for them to go out like that.

#21 If there are DS9 comics, I think Voyager isn’t that far behind. They can afford to at least do one quick 4-5 issue run to test the water. I bet there’s at least some interest.

if they did ENT season 5 comics maybe they could do the propoed Shatner episode (Mirror Kirk or Chef or whatever it was supposed to be)

Romulan War arc as well…

plus the usual timetravel crews mixing stuff like the NX01 going into the future and meeting Pike, Kirk, Picard etc that happened so much in previous DC and Marvel stuff

What they SHOULD do if they DO do a Enterprise: Season 5 like Whedon did for Buffy, then I think they should adapt the Enterprise novel “The Good That Men Do”. That TOTALLY redeems “These Are The Voyages”.

And I too would LOVE to see a ‘Kelvin’ comic!

And by the way, nice cover of George Kirk on the cover of the movie adaptation. On the other hand, the DS9 cover is lousy. Odo looks like a zombie, Sisko looks like a double posing as Sisko, people in the background are pissed off and Kira is staring at a wall. Oh and Quark looks like he’s about to eat the latinum! Oh well!

I thought it said: Troi tries to pick through the nose in her patient’s head to unravel information on the extra-dimensional ghosts
