I’ve always wanted to see more adventures of the C-57D in the command of Commander Adams, and the rest of the trinity of First Officer Farman, and “Doc”.

Even if Roddenberry lifted it all to create Star Trek. Since JMS had some interesting ideas on reimagining Star Trek, he can take a shot at those same ideas with the original characters. Should be… fascinating.

His whole schtick is summed up per the phrase “there’s no script yet”. There never is; he just finds an old script and changes a few things (e.g., Independence Day is a transparent re-write of George Pal’s WAR OF THE WORLDS).

His Terminator films are absolute classics as well as Aliens, while Titanic after making a billion dollars, just hasn’t held up as well over the years. I used to love that movie, now I can’t stand it. Too weepy. Too long. Even though people will always be obsessed with the real Titanic, the movie would bomb today.
