Did paramount not sell everything off set wise…..?

They would have to rebuild everthing from scratch for a DS9 movie – or invent a great excuse for Ds9 needing a major refit (which is a possibility with the end of the war with the Dom). But everything from scratch, is not that a major ask for a straight to DVD movie?

if they brought back TNG, DS9 or VOY I would prefer it to be in the prime universe, but there could be a crossover.

I think CBS could pocket a small fortune on former Star Trek casts in made for TV movies or maybe more likely — straight to DVD. And do it in a way that will compliment and promote the new Star Trek film series. I can’t stand Voyager but there’s a bankable audience there, millions of people you can count on for DVD sales.

It would be interesting if they made a trilogy, TNG if they could get Stewart to sign on, DS9 and Voyager that tied in with the new film series to keep it relevant and reduce the risk of over-exposure which is a valid concern.

Still though, I say go for it.
