According to Amazon.co.uk the third season won’t be released in the UK till March 22, 2010. That’s a shame. They really should release it at an earlier date. CBS Europe’s release policy is quite strange.

Thanks for clearing that up Dom! I remember that line Sulu had and thought it was just me not getting the connection. Nice to know they were the ones who left out a line he was responding too. And yes, they should have corrected that on the dvd. Thanks again!

George Takei does look young enough to be John Cho in that pic.

One “bonus feature” we’ll probably never see on Blu-ray or anything else is the Gary Lockwood wardrobe malfunction told in Shatner’s “Star Trek Memories”: pants split completely open during fight scene, no underwear.

As Balok counts down the minutes until he’s going to take out the Big E, they missed out one of the announcements. Sulu turns around, reacting to it and says something along the lines of ‘I knew he would!’ although we never hear Balok’s line!

As a well-known continuity blunder in the show that’s mentioned as far back as Allan Asherman’s Star Trek Compendium, I’d have thought it was a reasonably easy fix: they could simply have copied an earlier announcement and slipped in the correct number! I do stuff along those lines regularly in my job!
