This is going to ROCK. Reminds me of one of my top-ten favorite movies of this past decade “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow”.

Of course that bombed at the BO because they aimed it at the adult masses who don’t like anything retro. I’m a retro-geek so I loved it. To my nephew it was unlike anything he had ever seen so it was cool. However they didn’t bother to advertise on Cartoon Network and Nick so kids were never given the chance to like it. Instead they pushed it on adults who preferred “300″ and it’s @$$-rape of history. (I did enjoy”Sin City” however, just not as much as “Sky Captain” . “The Spirit” sucked though.)

So anyway since “Sky Captain” wasn’t successful I fear this won’t be that popular with the masses too but since it’s internet only maybe a niche audience will be enough to sustain it. I hope so!

I’m really surprised with how retro they went with this. All the way back to W W !? How do explain him going 500 years into the future??????
Guess I’ll have wait till next year.

Looks interesting. I quite like the retro-loking ship on a modern looking cloudscape, but I am not a fan of the funny pulsy exhaust, looks a little cartoonish. I’d prefer a realistic looking exhaust.

But anyway…….looking forward to seeing the series.

… buy yeah, they can’t legally sell PHASE II or even give them out free…. I could see a problem of bootleg copies showing up everywhere. BUCK ROGERS is a different matter entirely.

Maybe DVDs will be made available after a bunch of episodes are shown first online – I hope so because I would buy them but I don’t know how they would approach distribution. Don’t know all the legal ins and outs of putting the episodes on commercial DVDs in stores but SANCTUARY was fortunate enough to get a cable TV deal and a DVD distribution deal. I guess we’ll have to see….

I don’t know why they don’t make the DVDs available? If they can’t sell them, give them away on the website. A ton of people would love to see them at heme.

eh not really my cup of tea.

but it doesnt matter what kind of production it is. it is what it is.
to me, the quality is better than fan made and not as good as legit films.

remember, st:ogam, tuvok wanted to sell it HA!

Yep, it’s a perfectly legitimate film company making BUCK ROGERS so it IS a professional production. Sheesh!

Buck Rogers is being made by the Cawley Entertainment Company and Retro Film Studios, LLC. Yes, Star Trek : Phase 2 is a fan (not for profit) production made at Retro Film Studios, But this studio also makes professional productions. Buck Rogers in the 25th century is one of them!

yes, but it’s not seen on any TV show or theater. You can only watch it online. Also, you said yourself it was made my the Phase II team. Not by any studio. it’s a fan production.
