I was not an ENT fan when it was running. Recently I started to watch few episode in second season and found it quite interesting. Since then I am watching the entire series and found the connections between the episodes good. And each episode had something to say that makes it worthy of being a ST series. Too bad that it did not continue to its well deserved seven seasons.

Lucky you that got to see Enterprise every week. The local channel kept bouncing it around and between that and weird shifts at work, I probably saw 7 to 10 of each seasons shows. Then, of course, they couldn't bother to re-run it in the summer. I loved Archer as captain, and got a kick out of Trip Tucker. But when it came to naming my cat, Porthos got the nod. I'm checking out the DVDs at Amazon now and thank God for YouTube.

24. vorta23492392932939230 - December 7, 2009

'' sorry, Zebonka, but you’re gonna have to play along with the rest of us! Enterprise is the red-headed step-child of Star Trek but it is still a worth addition to the mythos… and I love especially how the later 24th century Pocket Books novels subtly weave its races, characters, and memorably events into its history – to me it adds a richness that it would be a shame to ignore.''

Enterprise was one of the best Star Trek series of the lot, far superior to Voyager and even DS9 in my opinion. I debate you when you say it's the ''red-headed step-child'' If there is a ''step-child'' it's DS9, it technically wasn't a Star ''Trek'' series whatsoever. It was a completely different kind of series. You are correct however to say we should embrace the diversity and richness of Enterprise.

I never paid enough attention during the run of Enterprise to watch but I got hooked a year after cancellation. A bit frustrating. (No offence intended witthe following...) I felt it was much better than Voyager (never a Kate Mulgrew fan - going back to The Word and Throw Momma From the Train - but her acting did fit the the ST universe to a degree - in the mould of Shatner on a really bad day.) and way better than DS9 (Brooks was miscast - stiff and artificial. I wish they could have found a young Morgan Freeman. Quark? Pedantic and silly).

Frankly, the only 100% believable rendition of a starship captain in all ST media was by Stewart. Using the modern navy as an analogue, he is the only actor in ST that I can imagine who could pass for the captain of the Nimitz (well, Jeffery Hunter could also have pulled it off).

And the new movie? Good movie, but the Kirk premise was lame. How does a cadet become a starship caption in a day? Looks like there is a gap of a good 15 years missing from somewhere.

Re: Enterprise - After viewing all the Enterprise reruns I turned to Hulu and got hooked on all the other great recently cancelled shows.

I think there is something very wrong with my timing. There is certainly something to Ashton Kirchner's YouTube series. Watching a show any time you want is a hook. That's how I've been watching FlashForward and V....

Well say what you will, but I find Enterprise entertaining. The only thing that I hated about the show was the idiotic theme song at the beginning. It sounds like something that the guys that do South Park would put together on one of their episodes. NO VOCALS allowed on a Star Trek show or movie.....................period!

No... please let Enterprise stay in its grave. The guy who played tucker was probably the only good actor they had.

Let that series rest in piece, and get some new stuff baby ;)
