I remember this game I wish they had finished it and put it on dvd, I was looking forward to Star trek Secret of Vulcan Fury back in 1999, too bad it never made it to the light of day, that old TOS 3D game, it look cool ,and was the last time the old cast got together to voice the characters, and yes they did get bones to voice the lines in it, which is a question a few people asked before, I read it online somewhere from a source that said, he did the first part of the lines, he just didn’t make changes since he dead before they finished this game, it was too bad , that game was going to be the best star trek game ever made in this world.

But they can still do a CGI animated feature. I say make the abandoned video game “Secret of Vulcan Fury” into a CGI animated feature. There’s already dialog from the original cast. Story and script by D.C. Fontana. Come on CBS. Again, great video clips from the game.

I think people miss seeing new scifi star trek on tv, its great that their making more movies, but people only watch movies, maybe 1once or 2 twice or a few times more, when a series is day to day or week to week, in which fans get to inrich themselves in their own scifi series, I mean remember when you looked forward to watching enterprise , be new each week until the tv channel got ride of the show and canneled the series altogether, they even tried to save it by the start of mirror mirror shows, but the network was not going to have that so they shut it down, which was upn 44 correct to canned star trek from tv, we have them to blamed, or the war at the time maybe not sure since its been so many years since star trek last aired on tv.

I think better than Shatner should produce his own movie about a starship that explores the unknown and he could portray the “seasoned” old Captain on his last voyage

maybe give shatner his own syfy tv series a spin off of star trek, maybe a mirror mirror star trek tv show, based off different univerises that connect to each other or something to that point, I feel like star trek has not explorered the possiblely of different worlds with different based enterprises yet, maybe a world, in which the hall of the ship is based on planet life force or something scifi like that, again its a great idea to give the old TOS characters their own chance to direct their own tv series, not movies, we need more scifi tv shows, tv these days lack such shows on air

april fools on us i guess. Its april 13 now and still nothing. I said before i was holding my breath on kitumba for this year. Missing their date just goes to reinforce this. Crossing my fingers, but we’ll see what happens.

My eyes and the smile on my face said it all….oh this is gonna be good..Kudos to you James and everyone else that is helping this come alive.
You have no idea or maybe you do what a treat this is for the fans of the original series.
The wonderful characters we had wished to know more about will finally get there chance to shine.
I enjoyed J.J.’s version but am looking forward to this and so are so many other fans.
Thanks again James and your wonderful crew….looking forward when we get to experience something truly original…

Love P2 and what James is doing! The naysayers are getting less, and P2 continues to improve it’s quality! The acting has improved by leaps and bounds, and I thought John Kelly (Dr. McCoy) turned in his best performance yet in B&F.

Can’t wait for the coming eps, and the Origins story looks great!

Shatner should produce his own movie about a starship that explores the unknown and he could portray the “seasoned” old Captain on his last voyage. All other sci fi tends to pay homage to Trek at some point with their original work. He could duplicate some of it but use different descriptions and designs. May even start a new franchise. You listening Mr. Shatner? I’d go see it.

On a side note, I’m actually kinda sad the way that Shatner “exited” from the Trek world. Not so much from his death in “Generations,” but just how he seems like he doesn’t embrace the evolution of Trek if everyone’s not embracing him. When JJ’s Trek came out, he should have watched it like every other Trek character did. But, because he was not a part of it, he distanced himself, even to this day when we all have the Blu-Ray/DVD release to watch at home, even to the point where he sounds like an old bickering loser.

Don’t get me wrong, up until this time, I was a HUUUUGE Shatner fan, even backing that whole “Bring Back Kirk” campaign. But, something in him has changed and I don’t even associate him with being Kirk anymore.

As far as I’m concerned, Cawley has succeeded him in the Prime timeline, and Pine has succeeded him in the Alternate timeline, and that’s where I draw the line.

You go, Cawley! Hope to see the final product soon!

If you’ve never seen any of Cawley’s work you should check it out. Very nice production value. Good stories and the acting is also good for the most part.
