Hello, i read your blog from time to time and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam responses? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can recommend? I get so much lately it's driving me crazy so any support is very much appreciated.

Rocket Scientist...

I've thought of this same issue, as it where. The new size of the Enterprise. Wow, thats a huge size. But if you follow the logic, each ship that comes after this new Origional - Enerprise, then those too would be even larger. The Galaxy class must be really really huge now.

Just a thought,
Rob.

Strike that. I...LIKE...IT! (But it's still not bigger than a Galaxy class. No sir, not gonna buy that. Not a chance).

This isn't exactly on topic, but it still has to do with Star Trek ships: Toys R Us has marked down a bunch of Trek toys for clearance so I picked up the 2009 Enterprise for $20. You know something? It's not bad! I rather like it now that I can hold it in my hands and turn it around to view various angles.

At first I accepted it. Then I started to dislike it. Now I really do, kind of like it. In a way.

I think (but I still have trouble buying that it's as big as they say).

Rick Sternbach,

I love you, I love the work you did on Star Trek. I've never had soooo much fun as I've had curling up with the ST TNG Technical Manual. It's a geek orgasm, cubed. Please, please, don't ever stop translating "techo-babble" into plausible stuff, or I'll cry.

But - I'm very sorry - Voyager was the ugliest ship of the Federation. That's just a personal opinion, of course, but I think that ship was the most unbalanced, ungainly ugly duckling ever to leave Utopia Planitia.

Hate to say it to you, since you're responsible for so much of the best of Star Trek (really, I mean it), and you've given fans like me soooooo much pleasure and fun. But Voyager? Not your best work.

@75 The old deflector dish in front is now the auxiliary deflector. The warp reactor and engine room are still in the same place, also as an auxiliary (or supplement) so the ship can still go to warp even if the secondary hull fails, is damaged, or destroyed.
