Great selection! But it's still hard to invest so much on romances that, while certainly interesting and dynamic, were too short-lived and lacking any room for real potential under the 'guest star' radar.

Which is why I preferred:

Picard and Crusher were the definitive romance in TNG; I could believe that their personal relationship was defined by their love for the late Jack Crusher as husband and best friend (Troi and Riker's distance made no sense whatsoever). They had a very mature type of romance, which was touching and refreshing.

B'lanna and Tom had a fun and playful chemistry, although an often stormy courtship, sparked by their personal insecurities. Scenes between these two were always engrossing to watch.

Trip and T'Pol had the most intense and turbulent romance and no matter how hard they fought it, the universe (and alternate universes) kept insisting on bringing them together. It brought an element of 'humanity' to T'Pol that was interesting to watch unfold as she struggled with her own Vulcan nature (much like B'lanna's struggled with her Klingon heredity).

and finally....

Uhura and Spock from the revamped Star Trek movie. Spock may have been the straight man to Uhura's 'girl friday' routine, but when the emo chips came down, Uhura was his rock. (This is what Trip & T'Pol could've been like if they just got their act together).

Another thing is that while searching for a good on the internet electronics shop, look for online stores that are frequently updated, trying to keep up-to-date with the most up-to-date products, the very best deals, and also helpful information on products. This will make sure that you are dealing with a shop that stays atop the competition and gives you what you should need to make intelligent, well-informed electronics buys. Thanks for the crucial tips I've learned through the blog.

GAHH death to Spock/Uhura.
I might have accepted it in TOS, but the new movie killed it. It was very well acted, but it was really out of place.
Most romantic scene for me would have to have either been when Kira and Odo kissed for the first time (or when future!Odo admitted he loved her) or when Spock realized Kirk wasn't dead in Amok Time and had that huge smile.

The Spock/Uhura moment is the best! Very sweet interaction, and well acted by Zach and Zoe. Definitely want to see more of that.

With the exception of the first one with Kirk and Keeler, these are all terrible.

Pretty representative of romance in Trek though. It almost never worked. :)

#12--There is a good series of books based on Titan. A lot of good character development and heartbreak for Troi and Riker as they try to have a baby. As far as any on-screen shows or movies based on any other of the series, I think that ship has sailed. Books are about as good as you are going to get for those.

Agree - the Spock/Uhura thing is Star trek 2009 wasn't the slightest bit romantic. It came out of nowhere, went nowhere and contributed absolutely nothing to the movie.

There wasn't anything romantic about Spock and Uhura kissing. In other bits of the movie they worked way better, but that nonsense in the elevator??? "Oh your planet is burning, I'm gonna lay a big wet one on you!".
