Big Trek stars like William Shatner, Jeri Ryan, Jonathan Frakes, and many more are already lined up for the four day event in August. Every time there is a contest for a U.S. sponsored event or prize we go through this. Just to be fair, U.S. citizens aren’t allowed to enter contests in other countries either. This isn’t a case of that nasty old U.S.A. squashing the hopes and dreams of all the other nations of the world.
Perhaps fans from other nations should convince whatever powers that be to have contests in their respective countries. I know that I am not eligible to enter the contests, if there are any, to win tickets to the great Fed-Con events in Germany. Fair is fair.
We’ll give it a try, after all it cannot hurt to enter the oppertunity, good luck every else who enters. We already bought the photo op with Jeri Ryan.

every previous star trek series cast has been somewhat available and appeared at convention. The new movie cast however, we may rarely if ever see at a convention. eveyone cast member are in their prime and doing projects and movies or TV.. Quinto was the only guest of the vegas con last year..I have to think Nimoy had conveyed the enormous task of being a star trek celebrity and the importance of appearing at cons.. more than any other cast.. I don’t expect to see them.. anytime soon..

I entered-havent been since 40th anniversary in 06-was my one n only convention-it was awesome-go seahogs! oink oink! oh u said seahawks never mind heheh-actually live in tacoma so yes a fan-this years superbowl with n orleans winning reminds me of the seahawks superbowl-once in a while the underdog wins huh–say maybe i will win those tickets then being unemployed fur a year n all-heheh

Without THE EXPERIENCE I have no interest. I would love to see all the folks I know from around the world at the con but the Hilton is a flea bag!

Kind of agree there. But the Hilton is light years ahead of a place like the Sahara. I’m still going to enter every day. Which reminds me……..
Currently, the only tickets that Creations has for sale is the Gold Package. Most of have sold by now, although it is my guess they sell this package first to see how well it might go for the rest of the tickets. The Captains Chair becomes available in March according to past CONs in Vegas.
The rest of the tickets start availability as it gets closer to the actual CON. I am quite sure Creations wants the majority to buy the high powered packages first. If you can afford them, they are good deals. Obviously, they are popular as these special tickets have reserved seating and they are always full (depending on who is on stage). The people who have the Gold tickets are very loyal, I spoke to one couple who have the same seats up front for years, they renew at the CON each time.
Our group of fans have a great at the Hilton even though we all sorely miss STTE. We sit in Space quest casino/bar and become deeply nostalgic. I can only hope that Hilton is smart enough to have the Semi-Quarks style drinks again as well as play ST dvds on the screens in Spacequest…great suggestion Dave!

I’ve never been to a Star Trek Con; this would’ve been my first time and chance to finally meet William Shatner! My parents didn’t let me go last time.
This is even before I start school and I know it’ll be too expensive even just for plane tickets, let alone also for admission etc etc.

I even won an Arena Bowl Championship Ring on her birthday 7 years ago tomorrow, when the San Jose Wolves of the AIFA indoor football league were once known as the Sabercats of the old Arena Football League from 1995 to 2008.
