If that is all we’re going to see, I won’t bother with it. Where will buck get a spaceship from in WW1? Everyone seems happy with erin gray and gil gerard being reunited but they should also have got Twiki involved (the voice and the guy in the suit). I think moving the show back in time is seriously gonna make it too boring though

Hey this the 21st century i thought Buck Rogers was sci-fi not an old story set back in the dust bowl days , but you need a setting that young folks can relate to not when most the older generations are dead or dying .

When they did Flask gordon movie 1980 was good at least they used current times to set the movie , Today most kids don’t know the history from from beyond the 1970’s , unless you guys were on drugs or drinking to much you just might win the award for ole granny not oscar you guys make me laugh then i’ll go and puke

Oh my; now, I would easily pay $10 to see this in a theatre! Erin Gray and Gil Gerard are in top form; better than anything they had the chance to do on the old show (not for lack of talent; but opportunity).

This looks so good, it’s really hard to believe it’s NOT a Hollywood production (actually, I CAN believe it; the dialogue is too flowing and natural for a Hollywood movie! Hee hee…).

Mr Cawley and company; keep up the fantastic work! Can’t wait to see the rest.

I sent a link to the clip to friend of mine. She asked who was Buck. I told her the person referred to as Lucas. She said like Luke Skywalker. No Joke.

As posted on Youtube – retroaccount – His name is Lucas “Buck” Rogers. It was a creative choice for personal reasons!
His father is William, brother is Anthony.

If people start to link this to Star Wars based on my friend’s comment and a Youtube comment, then I think that “creative choice” was a poor choice for a name change.

Other than the name issue, I like what I have seen so far.

Erin Gray was great.

The imagery in the teaser was great. I want to say this supportively, but I wish the music had been better. It felt like a generic idea of what a blockbuster should sound like. If it was its own thing the way the imagery is its own thing, this would be firing on all cylinders.

My goodness, Gil Gerard may have just delivered the performance of his career! He packed a lot of nuance and subtext into those 3 minutes. Erin Grey was pretty terrific too! This has a lot of promise.
