Batman needed a good dose of reality after the awful batman and robin, but Superman has always been a piece of mythic fantasy. Someone once compared it to a modern day hercules story.

Superman is basically a demi god. He has superpowers and fights for truth justice and the american way.

I don’t want a darker more realistic take on superman like the dark knight. What i would like is someone to make a film that at least matches the quality of the Donner original if not topping it. Every superman film after sucked, and returns was just okay.

We got a mediocre superman and a mediocre third X-men film, i much would have preferred a great third x-men film and no superman. Since That dude who did x-3 ruined it.

#43 I am absolutely positive that Superman is in good hands. I’m pretty sure Warner Bros. learned from their mistakes with the “Superman” films like they did with the “Batman” franchise.

And Brandon Routh is pretty much guaranteed to be not coming back.
As well as that awful suit. And Kate Bosworth.
