Leonard Nimoy Now On Twitter

Leonard Nimoy may be getting ready to re-retire from acting, but that does not mean that he is going away. In fact, the original Spock has become the latest Star Trek celebrity to join Twitter, giving fans a new way to keep in touch. Alexander Siddig Joins Cast Of UK Sci-Fi Show ‘Primeval’

Earlier today, UK network ITV announced that the critically-acclaimed sci-fi show Primeval will return in early 2011, and joining the cast will be Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s Alexander Siddig (Dr. Julian Bashir). Siddig can also be seen in the new movie Clash of the Titans. More details below.

Ron Moore Interested In Creating New Star Trek TV Series

Console Version Of Star Trek Online Put On ‘Back Burner’

Before the MMORPG Star Trek Online was released on PC, members of the Cryptic team had confirmed the game would eventually also be developed for at least one of the gaming consoles (XBox 360 and/or Playstation 3). However, not it appears that this will not happen, or at least no happen any time soon. STO’s executive producer has now confirmed that a console version is ‘on the back burner.’

Anton Yelchin To Star In ‘Fright Night’ Remake

Anton Yelchin, Star Trek’s new Chekov, is having a big week. Yesterday it was announced he was providing voice work for the new 3D Smurfs movie. And today it has been announced the actor is in talks to star in a remake of the 80s vampire movie Fright Night.

Zachary Quinto Wants Leonard Nimoy In Star Trek Sequel April 5, 2010

Much has been reported about the special mentoring relationship between the the Spocks of the 2009 Star Trek movie, Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy. So far it looks like Leonard Nimoy is serious about handing things off to Quinto for the sequel, and going (back) into retirement. But a new comment from Quinto suggests the young actor may not be ready to let go.

UPDATED: Saldana Expects Star Trek Sequel To Start Shooting Early 2011 + Wants More Uhura/Spock

Recently Simon Pegg made news across the web with his estimate that the Star Trek sequel (scheduled for release June 29, 2012) would start shooting later this year. Anton Yelchin Adds Voice To New Smurfs Movie
