Might be fun for the little ones – I wonder if it’s based on the new movie?

We will finally have the answer to the age old question, “Who would win in a fight Kirk or Picard?”

I collected the Marvel Heroclix for years! These are awesome. Its like baseball cards for Fanboys! You don’t know what’s inside each box!

i love heroclix, cant wait to have enterprise crew vs xmen

Oh….My…..GOD! I have no money starting this Christmas.

Mage Knight started it for me with WizKids.

Then Mechwarrior. This is going to consume all of my time and money. It was bad enough before. Wizards and Mech’s are one thing, but this is Star Trek!

We always dreamed that someone would do this.

Thank God I didn’t get into Warhammer 40k that bad yet.

I assume they will have some sort of ship battles as well as character’s fighting.

Maybe they will have diplomacy special abilities for Picard! (snicker)

Time to start making scenery and maps again. Ah! Now I have a reason to finish all my left over ship models!

The only problem now is I have to wait until Christmas.

Crap.

@1 : The article reads that it will cover all series and movies.

ooo NECA??? could this mean some NECA Star Trek (movie) figures down the road? i love what they have done with Harry Potter, Sin City, 300, Twilight and the like…

Peacekeeper– Star Trek already answered this in Generations, Picard got his butt kicked by Soran and couldnt get to the rocket so he had to bring Kirk back from the nexus to “take care of” (beat up) Soran (which Picard couldnt do) to stop the probe! Dont get me wrong, I love both captains, but Kirk is the tougher, more physical captain. Picard was more a diplomat and had Riker or Worf to use as the muscle!

Missed my chance to pick up the micro machine nebula and a few others because I was still too young then to waste money at it. Maybe now I can grab some miniatures of some of the rarer models, if they do a starship version.

ooooo something NEW to waste my money on!! XD XD XD XD
Sorry, stopped collecting DST toys after they cancelled half the figures they were releasing, which curtailed my collection to Doctor Who. I also started collecting the new Playmate Figures (having gained all the figures I wanted from the ’90s’) but then they announced the line was on hold. So with this, it feels good to be collecting something Trek-related (other then DVDs and Books I mean) again!

oh good. 1st WizonusKids …. pooped on Mechwarrior… wonder how much defecation they can do for ST… *cries*

Will we get ships?

I hope they have the ships.

I will jump instantly on a New Orleans miniature.

I think they will do just the main characters and thats it. No ships. On the other hand, don’t be surprised if this line ends up getting cancelled. Toys based on the Star Trek franchise just don’t sell well. At least not lately.

I am so looking forward to collecting these for my son and playing with him…he’ll be almost 6 by then and I know he’ll love it!

I think they have to do ships, no questions about it. It said “Star Trek miniatures games”

That means more than one. Hopefully more than one click game.

Hopefully ground combat/exploration and starship combat.
