I watched it again recently and was surprised how well it's held up. But a sequel 11 years later? It seems pretty clear that the success of JJ's Star Trek opened the door for this. Was surprised to hear his name and see him doing some sort of sports anchor gig on CNN a couple of Saturdays ago. don't know if it's a regular gig for him, as I don't watch sports or sports news ...
