OK, so did they get rid of episode reviews? I'm rewatching it, and, especially in the first couple seasons of each series, a decent portion of the episodes were bad, and I'd like to skip them. Previously, I was able to see the rating on there as one indicator of whether or not I should watch it or skip to another, better one, but now this is gone. Is there any way to access it, or another source that has ratings that are concise and not buried in a long review that takes time to read and can spoil the episode?

Also, it'd be really nice if there were a way, when viewing an episode's page, to navigate to the next episode aired, instead of having to look up on Wikipedia or Memory Alpha which episode comes next and then finding it alphabetically, in the process probably seeing the plot summary on one of those and having it spoiled.

The TOS database 'cast' link has 'Kelley, DeForest' at the top, and anyone with a surname further on in the alphabet listed below him.

'Barrett, Majel' and 'Doohan, James' aren't listed!!!

I accept just fine that there's a separate site for the movie and for the franchise. Movies get their own sites all the time, nevermind that Star Trek is owned by two unrelated companies now. The reason ST.com went down was likely so CBS's site could avoid competition with Paramount's site.

When ST.com was in its last active incarnation, I went there for news, games, magazine-like content, and reference.

Now, TrekMovie handles my news, I don't play Star Trek webgames, and Memory Alpha gives me much more in-depth info. Guess what's not on the new site? (Also the games are gone.)

It would have been a selling point for this site to offer its 'old' news content in an archive - the unique videos and interviews, photos that were not available anywhere else, reports on events (ditto).
But nope.
All gone.
Where would the 'Enterprise' crew(s) have been without access to archive information? But these days anything more than about 2 days old is seen as past its sell-by date and shoved aside.
Bad move, guys.

Ironhyde, can you point to the where Charlie X is listed as TNG? I see it here: http://www.startrek.com/database_article/charlie-x , and it seems to only reference TOS.

Ho Hum. You can watch episodes if you happen to live in just one of the many countries on this planet.

I am not in the least suprised.

Ok. With the old StarTrek.com, my main purpose of going was to glimpse through the clean and concise episode guides so I could find my way through my TNG 7 season DVD collection and decide which season I wanted to pull out...

The new StarTrek.com has no DVD numbers on the episodes, which sucked at first. Then I discovered the episodes are not not in order, nor are they all listed. AND I'm certain CHARLIE X was a TOS episode, NOT TNG. So why's it listed in the TNG episodes database? D'oh!

Other than that, I'm one of those that bangs his head about the videos not running outside of the US. It's the Internet, people... I know everybody likes to OWN and control, but the internet isn't supposed to have borders.

Man, I thought a "Star Trek branded Bluetooth earpiece" meant one designed to look like the earpieces used by Uhura and Spock in TOS. That'd make the whole concept a lot less... lame. I see I'm not the only one to think so, as well.
