Hmmm. No.

Twitter is so goofy.

Goofy? Yes. But if it brings in some money for Haiti relief, more power to it I suppose.

It’s all good. You can also go directly to the Web site and simply make a donation without becoming involved in the auction.

I’d love to tweet Jerry Ryan!

its a nice idea but the grand prizes need to more than twitter. maybe an autograph or something. as it is right now, good fing luck.

I wonder what all these “Titter Pkg” could be XD

I think they forgot the “w” in Titter, because as it stants, it kinda looks just a tad sexual (no flame/troll,whatever meant of course, just stating an opinion).

REALLY?!! It has come to THIS?!!! Although this is for a good cause, the idea of having Twitter to be used for a Charity is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! What, so we pay between 35 and 335 for a simple retweet or new follower? It’s not like they are going to be there the full 90 days talking with you. I’d much rather get an autograph for that much than a retweet or a new follower for 90 days.

Haiti is still in bad shape. Every bit helps. Sometimes innovation is needed in charity. Projects for people to be drawn in to participate. I’m happy to give through my Churche’s drive. I figure what ever works to help the less fortunate. From yardsales to twitter.

I saw that Brent Spiner tweeted that he also is trying to get involved in this! I think it is a very awesome thing to do!

Oh one more thing to add to my previous comment: I have gladly donated money to support Haiti in the past, and I would do so again, but I would much rather do it myself or at an event.

Eh. I don’t care about Twitter so…>_> Can I get a stuffed doll or an autograph instead?

The charity sounds fine, but Twitter is way too shallow, young, and pointless for me. I’ve tried. Really, I have. I’m too frakkin’ old to go wild over teen angst. Sorry. Good luck with the charity part, though.

In case I failed to vent enough:

Twitter is a vapid dataport being rapidly co-opted by the uncool money-grubbing middle-aged dream-killers it purports to help teenagers distance themselves from, into yet another sales platform for mass media that increasingly lacks introspection or dare I say ‘soul.’

I doubt that fits on a tweet, but that just proves I’m too old.

For the Americans involved, why not do this for a charity that helps US citizens…especially in this economy? As an aside, I am not sure what twitter is. Maybe if they called you on your phone everyday and chatted that might be cool but twitter, nah.

Post when they do a Facebook promotion. I might consider that

I may consider that, but I would prefer to do that on my own time or at a Future Star Trek Convention. I hope that Jeri Ryan will at long last make her very first ever Convention Appearance in the Bay Area in the March of 2011. This would be a “purrrfect” time for Her to do it to coincide with the return of the “Reigning AFL TEAM OF THE DECADE” The San Jose SABERCATS!

Good Luck With the rest of the auction!

Look, I like twitter, and I’m all for charities, but people on Twitter really need to STOP endlessly begging for stuff. It’s embarrassing.

These packages are desirable how?

I love LeVar Burton but if he’s following me for 90 days I’m getting a restraining order!

I’d rather give to Haiti for a personalized autograph, even if the LOC is archiving tweets, it’s just so many electrons.
