Zachary Quinto’s Margin Call To Premiere At Sundance + First Look Pics December 3, 2010

Star Trek and Heroes star Zachary Quinto has been spending much of 2010 focusing on non-genre work. He is currently appearing off Broadway in the play Angels in America, and earlier this year he shot Margin Call, an indie film which he also co-produced. Today it was announced that the film will premiere at the prestigious Sundance Festival. Plus the first images have been released..

NASA Discovers New Type Of Life – Draws Comparison To Star Trek’s Horta December 2, 2010

Today NASA held a press conference where they disclosed the discovery of a microbe (on Earth) that can swap what was believed to be an essential element of life, for a toxic chemical. And during the press conference, one of the NASA scientists drew a comparison to the Horta from Star Trek.

Leonard Nimoy To Attend 2011 San Francisco Star Trek Con + Creation Plans 9 Trek Cons For 45th Anniv.

Earlier this year Star Trek’s Leonard Nimoy said 2010 would be his final year for conventions, but Creation has just announced that Mr. Nimoy is planning to attend their San Francisco con next March. In addition, Creation has a total of nine cons lined up for the next year, celebrating Star Trek’s 45th anniversary.
