Video of the Day: Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan w/ Papercraft Puppets

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is of course a classic that needs never be remade…unless of course you are redoing it with papercraft puppets. Check out the 60 second/papercraft version of TWOK below.

Papercraft Khan

YouTuber Mawgan has created a papercraft version of Wrath of Khan for his entry in the Jameson "Done in 60 Seconds" contest. Check it out!

What about Bunnies?

Don’t have time to wait 60 seconds. Well last year the Abe Toons team of Bunnies took on Wrath of Khan to create "30 Second Bunnies; Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan"

“Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is of course a classic that needs never be remade…”

Except of course, that it was remade twice…

Saddest part though is that scene of the simulation of the Genesis device done in the papercraft video which probably took minutes to do, somehow looked better than the final CG of TWoK.

I’ve always admired paper modeling and what it can offer – nice work!
