Nice. But Mirror Shat is not wearing the wrap around.

Love The Menagerie.

Kirk IS wearing the wrap-around. Look just above his left arm…

Mirror, Mirror is too busy. But The Menagerie is stunning!

April 27, 2011 6:24 pm

These look great!
Would like to see them do “Doomsday Machine” and “Arena” next.

April 27, 2011 7:05 pm

Like em.

April 27, 2011 7:08 pm

WOW. I am really, really, really digging that Menagerie poster! The Mirror, Mirror one is ok, but it’s lacking a central focus that good movie poster should have.

The Menagerie one is perfect, better than any recent movie poster I have seen in a long time.

BTW: I would love to see a Drew Struzan Star Trek poster.

April 27, 2011 7:28 pm

The Mirror Mirror poster is absolutely gorgeous. It has kind of an anime thing happening. I hope Commodore Mike gets his poster before they’re all sold out.

April 27, 2011 7:31 pm

Hmmm, not sure on the “Mirror, Mirror” one (I don’t like the color scheme, and the proportions seem off on Kirk), but I like the “Menagerie” one a lot. The likenesses on that are amazing!

April 27, 2011 7:38 pm

Awesome. Still kinda kicking myself for missing that Journey to Babel one.

April 27, 2011 7:49 pm

So GREAT art !!!!

April 27, 2011 10:29 pm

I’m getting both of these to go along with the FC, Journey to Babel and City on the Edge of Forever ones.

April 27, 2011 10:30 pm

Those are pretty cool.

April 27, 2011 11:49 pm

Beautiful work!

I just got a Nerd Boner … The Menagerie poster is top notch. Was wondering if anyone has read “The Glass Menagerie” by Tennessee Williams and found any sort of insight to Capt. Pike and his situation on Talos V?

The Menagerie one would have been a perfect movie poster. The kind that makes you want to see the movie even though you’ve never heard about it or seen the trailer or anything. It’s just that powerful.
Keep your board game, I’m totally spending money on this.

Great artwork, really inspiring and retro and stylish.

I really like the Menagerie poster. Looks terrific. Not so enthusiastic about the Mirror poster, though. I cannot discern any clear composition principle at first and at second sight. Just looks confusing and you have to look carefully and several times in order to understand the representation. Unlike some sophisticated works of art, that’s not what I expect of a poster.

Long Live the Empire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

April 28, 2011 6:31 am

All I have to say about the Menagerie poster: BEEP!

April 28, 2011 7:26 am

Where is Number One on that Menagerie poster?

So disappoint. :[

April 28, 2011 7:55 am

You know, I have always thought the Menagerie captured what the show was all about, and it had this cerebral quality to it, as well as intensity and action, and it somehow linked the big headed alien movies of the 50s and early 60s to the modern day. This poster captures the feel of it very well.

April 28, 2011 9:21 am

Really love The Menagerie poster

April 28, 2011 9:26 am

The Menagerie poster sold out in literally the first second it was posted. Sorry to say I couldn’t get one.

Come on, guys, 125 of these is nowhere near enough.

April 28, 2011 9:28 am

#36. Yeah, I had it in my cart, but the website loaded so slowly at checkout, it sold out in the process. I did get the Mirror, Mirror one.

April 28, 2011 9:45 am

Sold out in 3 mins….

I’ve got to believe that it is a number of resellers who jump in and buy everything that is perceived to be “hot.” Who else has the time to sit around and wait for these things to go live.

There has got to be a way to randomly choose people who wish to buy them rather than the free-for-all that is their current system.

April 28, 2011 10:33 am

got em!

April 28, 2011 10:47 am

LOVE the Mirror Mirror poster. Had it in my cart but it sold out before Paypal could process my order!!!

The Empire Kirk is my Hero. So is Empire Spock. They are what it is all about.

April 28, 2011 11:31 am

Re 33: Good point! She should be on the the poster, all right. But I think she’d be indispensable on a poster for The Cage. For the Menagerie, OK, it’s still acceptable without Number One on it.

April 28, 2011 11:35 am

I think the release time was 12:21, which i kinda predicted for the Mirror nature of that time.

April 29, 2011 11:03 am

Very nice, indeed.

Mirror Kirk looks like he’s flipping us off.

Mirror Kirk looks like Charlie Sheen and why does one of the Enterprise nacelles have a chunk taken out of it.

They should make one of these for Spock’s Brain (and for all the other episodes as well…LOL!!!
