Last weekends Creation Star Trek Con in Chicago featured more than just the final appearance by Leonard Nimoy. Also on hand were Jonathan Frakes, Nana Visitor, Nichelle Nichols, Brent Spiner, Connor Trinneer, Jonathan de Lancie and more. See below for a slideshow of photos from the event.

@5, 7: Yes, I’d go for a DVD too, but you’re right about the licensing. Maybe that’s why they can’t keep the live streams on a server somewhere after the convention is over? Licensing issues?
In a recent article on this sight, Nana Visitor introduces herself. I’d never “heard” her name before. Someone can pass along… Nana is pronounced the same as a Chinese baby asking for milk.

Thanks for the kind words! The video was made by John Tenuto, with photos from his wife Mary Jo and their friend Scott Macy who is also the person holding his awesome Star Trek 2009 prop “1701” from the shuttle doors in the photos.
Creation has released videos of some of the conventions-they made n sold one for the 40th trek anniv in vegas, the one n only convention i was able to go to and sheri and myself are in the video a few times for a second or so which is cool–they showed highlights of some of the speeches but curiously didnt show the two biggest guests-showed some of nimoy, but none of shat or nimoyh n shat–etc–it was scattershot wo they included speeches of—the video cme out 1 yar after the con n sold for 20 bucks i think–

Creatiosn did a DVD for the 40th Anniversary of ST form their Vegas CON back in 2006. I was not able to purchase a copy but I had seen it and its great. I hope they do a DVD for the 45th anniversary CON in Vegas.
To the Frakes bashers: By this point in his Starfleet career he would now be “Commander: Star Fleet”. Cut the guy a break, thats gotta be stressful. He’s just looking the part for when they do the TNG Reunion.

I am really impressed with the lay out of the whole weekend. I was the only Star Fleet officer who was a (Cation) and no one even offered me any cat nip. I was hurt. He HE but all in all i had a great time. I plan on going to New Jersey next year or another convention. That Creation hosts. I say again as many have said before me. Mr Nimoy was as charming as always and Ms Nichols was the Queen as she always is. Hope to see some of the nice people that i met at the Chicago con at some other con in the future.
