Simon Pegg’s next role is as the star in A Fantastic Fear of Everything. Here is the synopsis:
Jack (Simon Pegg) is a children’s author turned crime novelist whose detailed research into the lives of Victorian serial killers has turned him into a paranoid wreck, persecuted by the irrational fear of being murdered. When Jack is thrown a life-line by his long-suffering agent and a mysterious Hollywood executive takes a sudden and inexplicable interest in his script, what should be his big break rapidly turns into his big breakdown, as Jack is forced to confront his worst demons; among them his love life, his laundry and the origin of all fear.

To be honest I thought this trailer was a bit of a mess and my interest when from high at the start to not particularly interested by the end!
Did Terry Gilliam direct 1/2 of this trailer?
It looks a little meandering. I would like to see the movie, but I think it’s gonna be a tough sell to a general, American audience now being weaned on giant cgi things that blow up.

As a member of the American audience, CmdR, let me say that the collective intellect of the American audience is tantamount to that of a potted plastic fern; which is why Michael Bay still gets work. That said, this looks like a bizarre piece of good fun.
