Skipping this one

Yeah, doesn’t grab me, AT ALL. Recently saw Columbiana on satellite. It was so-so. But I would’ve been pissed if I’d taken the time and paid bucks to see it at a theater.

Saw this preview at a Regal Cinemas First Look. Not grabbing me in the slightest.

The funniest part of the preview was when Zoe Saldana actually talked about her character. All she said was “He’s the most important thing to her” and nothing else. Zoe, your character and the film fails the Bechdel Test with flying colors.

what’s it called?

there we go!

Looks good to me… Lots of great actors in it.

Im going to give it a chance! I liked the music and i like the actors.

Yeah, looks like a skip for me as well. I’ll rent it at Redbox, though.

Looks like straight-to-dvd crap!

Look’s like something better seen on Netflix.

Looks really interesting, actually. I, too, like the cast. Sounds like a good one for date night with the Mrs.

It looks interesting. Fascinating cast. Just remember that indie films can get Oscar love. Recall the excellent “Little Miss Sunshine” and “The Kids Are All Right.”

Not a good sign when you fall asleep halfway through the synopsis.

Yuck.

Jeremy Irons needs a good super-evil role to sink his teeth into.

Khan?

Zoe is gorgeous! You go! Not my kind of film, sorry

I’ll also be skipping it. She’s beautiful… but not a very good actor.

formulaic crap.

I think it might be good, so I’m going to try it. I like the actors as well. I’ve personally never seen Jeremy Irons in anything I didn’t like. He tends to do the deep stuff, and he’s good at it.

As far as formulas go, that’s most movies – even the high-grossing and/ or good ones. So the fact that it may be following a formula shouldn’t be a deterrant.

@#13

No it’s not a good sign at all. If you’re falling asleep within the span of 2 minutes and 40 seconds for the trailer, and reading the synopsis takes even less time than that, then it could be mild narcolepsy? I suggest a doctor. :-/

Nope. I definitely won’t watch it in the cinema.

I just find it interesting that people have such intense opinions about a movie they can’t know that much about. “Doesn’t look like my cup of tea,” I can understand, but the rest of the comments… But then it’s a Zoe movie, so… :-/

Meh

@20 EXACTLY

some of the comments give me a laugh here. i’ll just say that. Everyone has an oppinion and a way to express them but seriously…

Looks good. Bradly Cooper is always good and seeing Zoe Saldana for 2 hours alone is worth it.
