Oh wow, I like that poster. Why couldn’t that be the standard movie poster?

This is such a bummer for me since I love the poster, but I can’t see 3D so I can’t see this movie in IMAX. :-(

Yay! I will be there!

poster = nice

ship = fugly

IMAX = cool!

added an bit, poster glows in the dark

Glows in the dark??? Is it velvet, too?

It glows in the dark? Am I too old, at almost 62, to hang it in my bedroom? Maybe on the ceiling?

#2. You should check with your theater afterwards. I got the special poster for the “The Great and Powerful Oz” even though I went a few days after the special midnight opening.

YES! My dad and I are getting the poster. This is awesome totally going up on my back wall of my cube.

Wow! The IMAX print is beautiful! It’s a work of art! Reminds me of the old painted posters. I wish I could get one. Or at least a hi-res version as a wallpaper. (Hint, hint ;-)

I want one of those posters!!!!!! But no IMAX within 5 hours of me so no poster for me.

YES! My theater is a participating location and I’ve got my 8pm tickets (have had for ages). This is cooler than the Harry Potter 3D glasses that I got.

#9. Borg Cube?

@1 – Because Zoe Saldana isn’t in it.

This is awesome. 3 of us in my family are going to this. That means we will keep one for the house, and then I can sale the remaining two on Ebay for say $30 each, which will pay back for the cost of the IMAX tickets and snacks.

I ordered my tickt for the Naperville AMC! YAY!

I cannot wait to get mine.

#4=fugly

Does anyone know the dimensions of the poster??

@#7— HELL NO! Not too old! Hang it up and let your geek flag FLY!!!!

I do SO wish Paramount could have gone with Abrams’ original vision for the film print of 2D IMAX.

Trying to prepare myself for the over-stimulation of both 3D and IMAX at the same time. Bummer.

Wondering if my true IMAX theatre downtown will be able to show the movie in a month or so – does 3D film mean different projectors are required?

Boo-hoo-hoo, talk about a first-world problem! An embarrassment of riches ….

But whoo-hoooooo! I get a print just for attending the premiere on 15 May!!!

What’s the size of this thing? Even if 8 inches tall, it’ll push 2 1/2 to 3 feet wide from the looks of it.

I will say this: I saw the 9 minute preview before the Hobbit and I flinched and jumped twice, which was two more times I did for the 3 hour film afterwards. Just saying.

@14 – That’s COLD, dude but I agree with ya.

Kewl poster.
Perfect for geeks… like me.

Anyone heard if there exists 2D prints in imax ? Due to a vision issue 3D kills my eyes.

I am going to frame this and hang it up

Love it!!!

So just because the 8pm showing was sold out and I had to book 11pm I don’t get the poster!? That sucks!! Luckily I don’t really care anymore,after reading the spoliers this movie just dropped down quite a bit on my list of movies I’m looking forward to. What was it someone here called it again!?….unenthused. LOL! I call it superexcited. I have two other movies I’m superexcited about so all is fine. And if I really wanted this poster I’ll pick it up on ebay.

Can’t believe I’m seeing this movie twice though. Next week,and the 11pm showing I booked,when I WAS superexcited about the movie,lol,,in the US for the week after! Oh well,if I lower my expectations enough I’m sure it’ll be entertaining. Still hoping those spoilers are fake though,lol!

Have fun!

J-R!

cool me n my two bros should get the poster…

I want that poster.

Cool poster. But only available to fans who can see 3D films! It amazes me how Paramount is disrespecting and disregarding a large portion of Trek fans. : (

Nothing for fans at the MIDNIGHT Imax showings in London on May 9th… Sucks for us I guess.

I wish I could get it… Unfortunately I have a pair of Chem exams the next day… Well, maybe next time…

Their on eBay now. When it glows you can see the silhouette of the Vengeance :)
