Shatner’s Weird or What Debuts on Syfy April 30th

Tomorrow night William Shatner returns to TV with his new show Weird or What where he explores strange phenomenon. Here is a promo.

And here is how Syfy describe he show:

Hosted by William Shatner, each episode of Weird or What? contains three separate stories of the bizarre and unexplained. As the show unfolds, it weighs various supernatural and scientific theories that attempt to explain the story, and sometimes features tests conducted as proof of a theory’s plausibility. The show features strange occurrences such as aliens, ghosts, monsters and natural disasters, and could lead you to question your understanding of what is real, what isn’t, and what’s just plain weird.

And here is another clips from the syfy website.

Nice shats the man

I saw an episode of that last weekend. It was good to see Bill on TV again, but the show wasn’t anything special, sadly.

Good to see William Shatner back in action. But could he change SyFy’s idiotic, goofy spelling? How about back to SciFi?

The Shat is where it’s at!

He’s a machine! I’ll watch. I really like Chris Pine, but I long for Shat!

I’ve had the good fortune of meeting several if not most of my heros in life, have yet to have the oppurtunity to meet the Shat. I Should do something about that.

Oh look, William Shatner’s “In Search Of”…

wait, wrong show. wrong network! wrong guy.

:D

They should’ve just brought back Rescue 911.

I still call it the “SF” channel. I am, after all, an Asimov fan as well as a Star Trek fan. ;-)

Looks like Jonathan Frake’s Beyond Belief.

I hope this will be sold to Germany like Beyond Belief (better known as X-Factor here) which was a huge hit here.

#10

Yeah I do agree. It did have a similar feeling to Beyond Belief, a show I still enjoy. Only thing is, Frakes’ show admits that some of its stories are fake.

Shatner should do a Dr Who Episode.

Maybe he should play the next Dr Who

Its worth a look, he’s back in the center seat!

Can you separate what is true from what is false? To do so, you must look beyond the web of your experiences, and open your mind to things beyond belief…

Awesome show and Shatner looks great! Come on JJ, at least give Shatner a role in Star Wars! Please!!

Give me the original Dark SHADOWS from the very first one to the very last on!!!!! That is what is needed.
