I’m guilty of not paying any attention to the Trek comics…the notion of a TNG mirror universe could be interesting. So could Spock and Uhura on New Vulcan

No happy birthday to William Shatner today???

the vulcans ladies don’t look too happy LOL Beautiful cover, the fact that Uhura’s ears are covered is a nice subtle touch. It would be nice to know more about new vulcan and if this planet used to be inhabited at a time before the vulcans made it their new home.

The “New Visions” comics are awesome! John Byrne has captured the spirit of the original series, splicing shots together…it’s a truly fun read

I don’t understand how this can exist in the TNG parallel universe? I thought the Terrans were all slaves to the Klingon-Cardassian union… of whatever it was called??

Gads you’re stupid, how many times have I said that the Bermanverse is the parallel time line(s) or have you forgotten the TNG episode “Parallels” .

Mari Cobb and Richard,

OK, which one of you said it first and in which universe? And since neither of you have posted in this chain before, are you aware that using multiple parallel identities in a single chain is an offense?

My dear Disinvited,

It has become necessary, unfortunately, to have to resort to this.
Having to post using Tor, on this one board, whereas I’m free to use my
main moniker elsewhere because of my criticisms of the article writers here at Trekmovie, there seems to be some censorship going on, for when I do, a dialogue box appears, stating “comment awaiting moderation” and when I post under the main, it hasn’t appeared since February of last year.
So this was a test, Mari Cobb, received the dialogue box, however, Richard [and I never use my real name online except for business contacts] posted straight to the board, I never thought Mari Cobb would show up because it was a pun name based on Firefly the series, and Jayne’s cousin.
I’ll give you a hint to as my main alter ego, he some times wears a brown coat and works alone on a starship modified for one-person use.
Again, this is another test, and I’ll be surprised if it even shows up, yet saving it to notepad.

@Disinvited…..
So my apologies to you.

Richard,

Thank you for explaining.

The moderation may not be what you suspect. This site uses a primitive bot to scan for spamming activity that includes a wacky PG word screener.

For example, if any of the words or names in your comment contain the following letter sequences [$=s, |=l] a$$ or ana| the bot puts it into moderation. So I can’t use the letter “s” following the letter “a” twice.

Cana| or clas$ would put this reply immediately into bot moderation without letter substitution and you wouldn’t be able to see it until one of this site’s official humans examined it and approved it for posting.

Apparently the bot software is so old no one knows what the complete list of unapproved letter sequences is but it appears to include numerous curse words and slurs.

A word of unsolicited advice: personal insults are seldom worth all the trouble and effort to get them delivered in real life and the posting rule around here is, “Attack the idea and not the person.”

Shouldn’t Mirror Riker be beardless?? That’s just simple logic!!

It’s the first time we’ve seen the TNG Mirror Universe.
So he’ll have a beard for the first few issues, then shave it off.
