Star Trek Continues

Review: Star Trek Continues’ Come Not Between the Dragons

The Star Trek Continues crew has come out with their sixth episode, Come Not Between the Dragons. STC as a production continues to battle it out with New Voyages for setting the bar on production quality, and this episode is no different in that respect. It’s a more intimate episode, with the action effectively only on board the Enterprise, which expresses the level of confidence that the writers are putting in their cast to carry the episodes rather than on extended SFX or away missions.

Star Trek Continues Launches Kirkstarter 2.0 To Fund New Episodes

After three critically acclaimed episodes (and one more just in the can), the award-winning webseries, Star Trek Continues, today launched their second Kickstarter, dubbed “Kirkstarter 2.0”, to help fund two (or maybe more) new episodes and possibly build some new sets if stretch goals are reached. After only 12 hours, they’ve already raised over $40K, well on their way to their $100K goal.

Go Behind The Scenes of Star Trek Continues in New Documentary Series

The first two episodes of a new behind the scenes documentary take you onto the set of Star Trek Continues. Wired and Condé Nast Entertainment were on set for the filming of episode 3, “Fairest of Them All”. Producer Vic Mignogna takes you on a tour of what director James Kerwin calls “the fourth season of The Original Series”. The set designers, costume designers, makeup artists, editors, and everyone involved with the shooting have taken every step to ensure that the episodes of STC look and feel like something shot in the 1960’s, and the attention to detail is worthy of the nitpickiest of Trekkies (go ahead, do your worst in the comments). Look for episodes 3, 4, and 5 of the behind the scenes doc in weeks to come. Episode 1: CATCH VIC MIGNOGNA BEHIND THE SCENES IN THE SERIES STAR TREK CONTINUES
