It’s about your fellow fans; making new friends and being reunited with old ones from all around the world. Simon Pegg was the headliner for Saturday and appeared before a packed and enthusiastic Star Trek Las Vegas Con crowd. The new Scotty offered a few details on the production of the new Star Trek movie and also opined quite a bit about what he would like to see for the future of Star Trek on film and TV, along with talking a lot about his character. On Saturday veteran writer/producer Brannon Braga was set to appear with Manny Coto – his fellow executive producer from the last two seasons of Star Trek Enterprise – but Manny was stuck in traffic so Brannon went solo. He covered a lot of ground discussing his time with Star Trek: The Next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise. Composer Michael Giacchino is headed to Philadelphia this week to perform the score for Star Trek Into Darkness with a screening of the film. TrekMovie is excited to bring you the title of the upcoming Star Trek Continues episode, “Fairest of Them All” and exclusive shots of the cast in Mirror Universe uniform. The new episode, written by James Kerwin & Vic Mignogna and directed by James Kerwin, will take place in the mirror universe. The story picks up where The Original Series episode “Mirror, Mirror” left off and tells the story of what happened to the mirror landing party after returning to the I.S.S. Enterprise. The episode is set to release June 15 at Supanova in Sydney, Australia, and will be available on Vimeo and YouTube the same day worldwide. Also lookout for a behind the scenes documentary dedicated to the making of “Fairest of Them All”.
